Autonomy and sustainability

At Iles de Paix, our work is small-scaled and in close collaboration with families involved in the projects. This allows us to work at a level that responds concretely to their needs.

Thanks to this close and participatory approach, simple techniques that are low-cost and easily reproducible are used to obtain results that are sustainable. So there is no dependence created – financial or otherwise.  The winning solutions coming out each Ile de Paix*  can be reproduced in other families, villages and communities.
